Artist's Comments

This was the start of a series called the Dark Assassins series... ^_^;; I actually only ever did two pics for it, this one and one of Wufei.

This is one of my favorite pics of Duo out of all the one's I've drawn. Lineart was all inked then scanned and colored in PSP and with wacom tablet.

background was very cheap and I kinda wish I would have spent more time on it. But it seems to work well none the less.

WOW! Such detail! It's like whoa. lol I'd like to see the lineart of this piece for the coloring is great & brings it to life. Shading is amazing & choice of colors. Though I think Duo really suits the color black, though that would just blend in with the background, so good choice. The pose so reminds me of Spider-Man, the way his arms are & is just hanging there.

As for the lineart? I'll have to see if I managed to save it last time I reformatted my puter, I have no idea where the original paper sketch is otherwise I could just scan it again ^_^;;;
I'm glad you like it and yah, the pose was my attempt at doing a comic book kinda style ^_^;;; yah, spiderman was a big influence in this peice as well ^_~

Whoa, whoa, whoa! Duo looks so hot! In all red too (I usually see him in black so this is refreshing)! Great detail on the pillar (is that a texture map?). Cool pose as well. Good job!

Oh yeah, what is dark assassins? and is the Wufei version in your gallery?

*grinz* glad you like it, I think red suits Duo very well... my favorite outfit of his is from endless waltz, the black pants and jacket with the red turtleneck that zips up... ^_^;;;

Dark assassins... sometimes I do a set of pics that have the same kinda style or theme and name them... I was going to do one of each of the GW boys but only did one of Duo and one of Wufei... and no, I haven't added the Wufie one yet.. but it is on my website ^_^;;
